Daniel Ramos is the new head coach of Al Faisaly
Daniel Ramos is the new head coach of Al Faisaly FC (Saudi Arabia). After two very sucessfull seasons in Santa Clara, where he beat all the club records and reached the European competitions, the 50 years old Portuguese manager decided to give a new direction to his career. This is his first experience outside Portugal and in a club with big ambitions that will participate in the AFC Champions League 2022.
New Iranian star signs with Santa Clara
Mohammad Mohebi is the new player of Santa Clara. A long time deserved player of the island based club, Mohebi signed a contract of 3 years. The Iranian winger already played for Iran national team and in the AFC Champions League with his previous club, Sepahan.
José Gomes signs for Al Taawoun
The 50 years old’ coach José Gomes is back in Saudi Arabia to coach Al Taawoun FC. This will be Jose Gomes third spell in the blue and yellow side, after a stinct in 2014 and in 2017. Previously he led Al Taawoun to the best position in the local Championship in the club history. In 2020 Gomes coached the Spanish side UD Almeria.
Eduardo Henrique signs with Al Raed
Eduardo Henrique is the new midfielder of Al Raed, from Saudi Arabia. Sporting Lisbon accepted to loan the Brazilian midfielder to Al Raed for a season-long. In 2020/2021 Eduardo played in Serie A with Crotone.
Al Fayha unviels new player Fernando Andrade
After extensive negotiations, the skillful winger Fernando Andrade was loaned from FC Porto to Al Fayha FC, from Saudi Arabia. The 28 years old Brazilian winger signed until the end of the season and Al Fayha has the option to transfer him permanently until June 2022. Fernando spent the last two season in Turkish Superleague.
Dor Jan returns to Israel
After one season in portuguese football, the known Israeli striker is back in Israel, this time to represent Maccabi Petah Tikva, on loan from Paços de Ferreira. Dor Jan started the season 2020/2021 very well inclusively scoring a goal against FC Porto.
Alaa Abbas signs with Gil Vicente FC
Alaa Abbas is the new striker of Portugal Premier Division club Gil Vicente. After much negotiations the Iraqi international of 22 years old penned a two-and-a-half seasons contract with the Portuguese club. Alaa Abbas had many offers from Middle East clubs but his will to play in Portuguese football was decisive. In the season 2019/2020 played for Kuwait SC, where he was Champion of the League.
Dor Jan wears yellow jersey of Paços de Ferreira till 2023
Dor Jan is the new striker of Paços de Ferreira. In the previous 3 seasons Dor scored always over 10 goals per season with Bnei Yehuda, becoming one of the main strikers in Israel League. The 25-years-old Israeli striker signed for 3 seasons and is expected to by a big boost for the attack of the Premier Division club Paços de Ferreira.
Shahriyar Moghanlou is the new striker of CD Santa Clara
After a productive season in Iran Premier Division with 13 goals in 28 games with Paykan FC, the 1.87m striker joins Santa Clara from Portugal Premier Division on a 3 years’ deal. This is his first experience outside of Iran at 25 years old. Despite being very much wanted by the best clubs of Iranian football, decided to move to the European football pursuing the big stages.
Deni Hocko signs with Mouscron
The first tier Belgium club Royal Excel Mouscron signed the Montenegrin international Deni Hocko for 3 seasons. The box-to-box midfielder played the last two seasons with FC Famalicão, in Portugal, achieving a promotion to the first division in his last season. Deni Hocko is a powerful and hardworking midfielder international for all national teams of Montenegro.
Jhonder Cádiz is SL Benfica’s player
Jhonder Cádiz signed a five-year contract with Benfica. After a very positive season in Vitória de Setúbal, the venezuelan striker make good impression and was bought by Benfica. In the season 2018/2019 Cádiz scored 10 goals was vital for the positive run of Vitóoria in the Portuguese league.
Rodolfo Arruabarrena is the new manager of Al Rayyan SC
Rodolfo Arruabarena penned a one-year deal with Qatar giants Al Rayyan. The Argentinian coach is familiarized with the region, after working between 2017 and 2018 in Al Wasl SC (Dubai). In 2018 Rodolfo led Al Wasl to 2 Cup finals and was 3rd in UAE League. Rodolfo hopes that he can help the team reach its goals and fight to win all competitions in the season 2018-2019.
